Yes, you must cancel your trip 24 hours in advance prior to your everglades tour by phone or email. Any less than that will result with no refund with the exception of inclement weather decided by our staff or your Captain. The Airboat ride may be rescheduled based on availability.

There are no mosquito’s while on the Moving Airboat, but there could be Mosquitos at the dock especially during Florida’s Rainy Season.

We recommend you bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. A camera to capture the adventure and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the Florida sun would be a good idea.

No the boat ride is smooth and it glides across the top of land and water.

Normally in the spring and summer shorts t-shirts flip flops or sneakers. Winter time in south Florida is normally mild however it is 15 degrees cooler on the airboat while it is moving so it is a good Idea to bring a windbreaker or jacket in the winter time.

We monitor weather daily we will not go out in a storm or lightning and jeopardize the safety of Captain and passengers. This will be a decision made by the Captain as to Cancel the trip due to bad weather. Note upon booking your Captain will advise you on weather conditions and what to be prepared for. Winter time it is 10 to 15 degrees cooler on the airboat while it is moving.

The Florida Everglades has many species of plants, bird life and is one of the largest wetlands in the world which is home to the American Alligator. We normally see birds, alligators and the occasional deer but all of the species are wild and we do our best to find them for you every trip but there are no guarantees on wildlife.

Yes we have had passenger ages ranging from 1 year to 92 years old, note it is up to the parents to decide this, they know their children better than we do.

We have vessels of different sizes and some that can accommodate from 5 to 18 passengers. Please allow variance for children.

Our private tours and group tours depart throughout the day between 9:00 am – 4:00 pm depending on reservations

No we do not, but we can refer you to a transportation company that does, note it is always cheaper to rent a car for the day based on customer comments. If your a corporate group doing a corporate event we can set up transportation needs.

As you are facing the front of the rest area follow the road east to find the Airboat tours on the (SOUTH) side of I-75 .

From Fort Lauderdale / West Palm/ Miami:
Take I-75 North towards Naples, (you will be heading west), look for the BLUE SIGN for Broward County Rest Area exit between Mile Marker 34 & Mile Marker 35. You will be entering on the North Side of the REST AREA.  When you get off the exit, follow the road that circles around to the OPPOSITE SIDE of I-75.  Continue until you see Our Boat Ramp that will be on the SOUTH SIDE of the I-75. Look for boats and vehicles with signage on them at boat ramp, our guides will meet you there.

From Naples:
Traveling from Naples, Take I-75 South, look for BLUE SIGN for Broward County Rest Area, exit at Mile Marker 36. You will be entering on the South Side of the REST AREA.  When you get off the exit, continue until you see Our Boat Ramp that will be on the SOUTH SIDE of the I-75. Look for boats and vehicles with signage on them at boat ramp, our guides will meet you there.
